Crysis on "two to three-year-old" PCs!
Cevat Yerli, speaking to Next-gen.biz, said he wanted the game available to a wider range of PC fans and not just those that can afford top-notch rigs.
According to Yerli, \"We developed almost all effects to be very scalable for different hardware specs. Fortunately this is much easier now that we can rely on the existence of hardware shaders. We believe clearly that Crysis will be enjoyed by a large audience that dates back to gamers with two to three-year-old gaming rigs.\"
There is one catch: Currently, Crysis would not require PC owners to have Windows Vista. However, this fact could change in tame. Yerli stated: \"Most likely we will upgrade all dev stations to Vista and move to Vista-only titles, but that\'s not 100 percent decided yet.\"
